The City of Carrington Police Department is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our citizens through professionally supported and trained police offers. Officers strive to provide an environment that will allow citizens to live and work in a safe and secure community.

Police Protection
Round-the-clock protection is provided by Carrington Police Department with five full-time police officers.

Computerized record systems provide a direct link with the state.

If you are witnessing a crime in progress or are experiencing an emergency, please dial 911.

25.00 - Barking Dogs,

25.00 Unlicensed Dogs and Cats

25.00 - Running at large.

Cost for License

7.00 if spayed or neutered

12.00 if not spayed or neutered

Must have rabies vaccination to get license. 

Licenses are valid as of January 1st and expire on December 31st of each year and are to be purchased on an annual basis.
